Not too Late to Wake Up

Nights been wasted
agony filled your soul
you who put an end
crushed in a self-made hole

You cry to sleep
wake up then weep
darkness invades your space
light is nowhere to trace

Leaving him unwillingly
kills you silently
but what will you do
if he's not after to you?

You loved him palpable
yet he wasted it
this play seemed invincible
so you forced-close it

Now is the time
go back to your senses
wake up, forget that crime
pick up your broken pieces

Find your own happiness
bring back the light
don't surrender to your weakness
enjoy life without his sight.

I write in order to live
